When JMX High Voltage needed to quickly increase their testing facility space in Fayetteville, Georgia, they turned to Millard for structural design services. Unique to this project, Millard worked directly for the owner, together working through the unique details that the testing facility required.  Because steel reinforcement in the concrete slab would interfere with JMX’s sensitive high-voltage testing, Millard designed a synthetic fiber-reinforced concrete slab without rebar or steel mesh reinforcement. The new testing facility features a 38 foot tall high-bay with a 5-ton bridge crane.
